Hi,people.
I browse the data in a database field in Crystal and remarked that not all the values are shown in the field.
When I select in Oracle I can see all the values.
Are there any limitations for database fields volume in Crystal?
How can I see all the database values when I'm browsing data?

I'll appreciate any answer.

Lana

Yes, it is intentionally limited, and Crystal version dependent. Not posting your Crystal version will almost always result in additional questions, or less optimized solutions.

It can be changed in the registry in most instances:

In general, the BO Knowledge base is an excellent resource:

Hi,
Also be sure that is what you want to do..If a table has several thousand ( or million ) records, do you really want to see all the values ( the Browse Data Option is not selective, so whatever limit you set globally ( per Synapse's info) will always apply).

I don't talk about thousands.
It only 650 values and I would like to see them all

Hi,
OK,then go for it..

But, some future time you may have bigger data tables, so be aware of the setting and its effects..

No kidding, Turk.

Nothing like a browse field on a 2+ million row table to blow Crystal up...
