Using Crystal Reports 9.0 and tables form Oracle Server.

When using the Database Expert, it takes about 10 minutes for Crystal to establish the links when linking 2 or more tables.

When the links finally do appear, the Auto-Link tab is set to By Key and there are no established links.

If I change the Auto-Link tab to By Name, and then select Auto-Link, the links are created within seconds.

If I then change the Auto-Link tab back to By Key and select Auto-Link, I get the same 10 minute wait.

Is there a way to default the Auto-Link to always use By Name? This problem appeared after I install SP-2.

Any recommended solution would be appreciated.

I should have elaborated.

Do a find on DoSmartLinkingByKey using regedit and change it to No.

Thanks. I understood what you meant. Changed the Key to No and everything is back to normal.
