Database exclusively locked

Hello,

I am using DTS to replicate data from Access to SQL. At times, I am receiving an error that the database is already opened exclusively by another user.

Is there a way to set the DTS source to accept "dirty reads" - I am not trying to write to Access - so I don't know why it cares.

The specific error that I received is "The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file 'y:\networkdrive\abc.mdb'. This is an access db. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.... The step failed.

Data is replicated from an access database on the network to my local workstation. After I added a new administrater on both machines and then set the two sql server services to use this account - I had no problems. Seems like the local system should be able to take a UNC with guest privledges.
