I am trying to write to an Access database and I am getting this error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.

I am trying to set the permissions to read/write, any everytime I set the permissions and hit "apply", when I go back into the folder, it is set back to read-only.

this isn't really an ASP question. It is a win2k question...but...

Are you sure you have ownership of the directory? When's the last time you rebooted the server...try resetting the permissions...make sure it had time to finish the command, and rebooting your machine. See if you get different results. -Ovatvvon :-Q

you'll have to copy and paste the entire link. kb articles always get hosed in this forum because of the semi-colon.
