We have a custom Crystal Report that gets data from a custom stored procedure. This report has been running for over a year at 2 of our restaurants with no issues. We just rolled it out to about 16 more stores, and 1 of them is having a wierd issue. The report prints out at the end of the server's check-out report. It seems to work for about the 1st 3 or 4 people, but around 2-2:30pm when someone tries to print their server report the Crystal Report says:

Code:
"Code 20: Incorrect template datasource"

When checking the Micros logs, we get this:

Code:
Thu Sep 18 15:29:12 2014 | lees | CrystalEngine | 0 | The datasource of the template is incorrect. Database Connector Error: '08S01:[Sybase][ODBC Driver][SQL Anywhere]Communication error [Database Vendor Code: -85 ]'
Failed to retrieve data from the database.
Error in File myfile {2A7950D8-9184-4353-84F7-C19E92550076}.rpt:

When this happens, the Micros database shuts down. I spent over an hour today with our Micros expert trying to figure out what could be causing this issue, and we are at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What version of RES are those two locations running, is it the same as the others?
Also, what version of Crystal Reports was used to edit the reports?

I've had this problem before when I used reports written in Crystal 9 on a RES 5.x system. The fix for me was to load up a lab with the same Micros version as the problem site and Crystal XI, (I don't have 2008), connect to the report, validate the database and save it as a Crystal XI report.

We are using RES 5.2, and our Micros manager told me it should be exactly the same version for all of our stores (we have about 34). I unfortunately had to use Crystal Reports 9. I'll have to see if we have a newer version of Crystal.
