Database engine stopping not backing up drives

I am running arcserve ver 11.5 just upgraded to sp2 build 4232.

The log reads:

unable to register media
EC=ERROR CODE= -2009
UNABLE TO INSERT UUID TO DATABASE
UNABLE TO ADD SESSION TO DATABASE
E5110 DATABASE NO LONGER AVAILABLE
E4109 UNABLE TO ADD SESSION RECORD

Any ideas on what to do to get this software to run correctly, we have nothing but issue after issue since installation. thanks in advance.
