Hello,

This might be considered 'off-topic', but I don't know where else to go.

I'm trying to draw a simple database/relational model for a conceptual SQL Server db schema. What I need is to draw something similar to what MS Access creates when you view the table relationships. Real simple stuff -- boxes with fields in them, and arrows pointing to primary and foreign keys.

My company has Visio, which stinks. Completely useless for me, it deletes columns and reorders them. Can't get the relationship arrows to point to specific columns. Deletes columns when I delete the relationship. A total waste of time.

Does anyone know of any software around that can suit my needs? I hate to use Paint...

Thanks,
Jason

Have you tried using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio? I would suggest that you create a new database and then take a look at the database diagram support.
