Hi friends,
With scads of assistance from the good people here on Tek-Tips, my db is ready for prime time! I've spent the first part of today working out the users and permissions, and that is now set up.
The next step is a bit more complicated for me. I need to provide multi-user access to the DB.
My first step was to create a shortcut using the UNC location of the DB. When I double click it, Access runs and opens my dashboard - before it prompts for the username and password.
When I created the security (using the wizard), it generated an MS Access Workgroup Information file. I'm guessing this is the issue, but I could use the sage advice of someone who has done it before.
I'm heading back to my help files and books to try to find the solution. Any assistance is welcome and appreciated.
TIA
Regards,
