Can someone please tell me if there are any third-party tools that will allow me to create/manage/diagram databases as easily for SQL Server as for Access?

I'm currently developing a pretty complex SQL database by creating it first in Access and using the Upsizing wizard, but I've found that certain things get lost in the translation, and I'd prefer to not have to go through the extra work of finding/fixing the omissions.

Thanks!

It seems to me that you should go straight to SQL Server in developing your complex system. Tools that I have used and found extremely useful are ERWin and Embarcaderos ERStudio.

Thanks

I recommend ERwin or PowerDesigner. However, I agree that you should consider doing the design directly in SQL Server, unless you have some compelling reason to use Access first.
