Hi guys,

One of my controller crashed today and I had to rebuilt it from scraches. When I recreated the cluster and then try to push the data using sync, the process failed and now it seems i've got some zombies in some tables

It looks like some old tables are referencing to a DN that is not present in the system. These zombie entries prevent SDS to work properly since the DN doesn't really exist but somehow is referenced on these children tables.

Is there any way to look inside the database /tables and try delete old references [may be via VxWork] ? I try the dbms check on both controller and they come back with no error

Thanks

What version of software are you using?
Have you migrated to common data sharing?

If you are rel 4.0 or below and
If you are just using SDS then I would suggest that you turn this off on all systems as a starting point you can then compare forms etc.

If you did a data restore then any corrupt data would have been kicked out so references to destinations that do not exist will not be restored.

You may have to turm off SDS on the other controllers then a new data restore on the system that crashed.
When it has restored turn off SDS then do a comparision of the forms to find where you have issues.

In the past I've had to do a data save/data restore. The 3300 with then chuck out any config it doesn't like, so make sure you export your important config out to csv's.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your replies,

I think I'll try the data restore at some point, that seems a good solution althought I'm running a small 24x7 Call Center so I will need to wait to have a spare controller before doing so.

For info, I'm running 4.1 SP1 with SDS.

Cheers,
