I have a bunch of DBs that are in Access 2k format. I have 2k, but use only 97 at work (where I want access to the 2k databases) I was trying to use acCmdConvertDatabase, but I can't seem to pass any variables to it.

I want to set up a form in my Access 2k DB that allows me to select the database I want to convert (done), then click a command button to convert it to access 97. Is this possible?

Maybe there's another command I'm missing.

Thanks in advance-

Please help! I have about 60 databases to convert...I would really like to be able to convert them programatically.

Thanks

nothing from anyone?

do I need to use SysCmd to make this work?

ie.

SysCmd acCmdConvertDatabase strNameofDbtoConvert

Thanks again.

more precisely I believe I would need to use

acCommand acCmdConvertDatabase

though now when I run this line passing the string of the database to convert I get "Expected Array" so I guess I need to define the output database or path and maybe some other options.
