Database Connector Error - BOXI Release 2 & Remedy 1

Help me please.

We are connecting to our BO XI Release 2 server to serve up our reports from Remedy AR System 7.0 connected to an Oracle Database. Our Server is called BOEDEV and some of the reports work and some do not. We cannot figure out why. It seems to pull up the parameter screen but give the following error:

Database Connector Error: ' [Database Vendor Code: 9055 ]' Failed to retrieve data from the database. Error in File C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\{0F19A579-F8B4-4B52-BB3D-16314BEBE6E6}.rpt: Database Connector Error

What is confusing is why some of the reports work and some do not.

You need confirm what type of report and what type of database connection.

EG Crystal Report using Oracle ODBC driver or Crystal Reports using Oracle Native driver

Assuming it is a Crystal Report, to determine if this is a report problem or a BOE problem, you need to install Crystal Reports XI Release 2 onto the same server as your BOE installation and run the report through Crystal Reports. This will not only determine if the problem lies with the report, it will display more detailed error messages in CR than BOE. It will also determine whether your database connection configuration is working correctly.
