Hi,
I've compiled all the maps in the Development server & moved(deployed) just the mmc's,msl's & the mdq's to the Integration Test Server.Ev'rything is working except the database connectivity.I've created the DSN, updated the update.mdq.
I've set a trace in one of the map.It says that
"Error in SQLConnect

Message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

SQL State: IM002
<2012-1708>: SQLConnect failed.
<2012-1708>: Returned status: (-1005) Failed to connect to the database

I'll appreciate if somebody can help regarding this.I've also checked the ODBC.ini which is fine.
Thanks,
Jack

Mmmm - not sure if this is along shot...but when running maps / connections through the MSL - is it a case of they need to be System DSN connections whereas just basic maps can run through USER DSN?

Thanks, Actually I had to change the System DSN to User DSN to make it work.

Good stuff - I thought it had to be around that..

Good Luck with the rest of the stuff.
