Database connection to another frontpage web

I have created a new web site in a sub folder, but would like to connect to the web sites database (.mdb)
I have tried to create a database connection in my new web to the other by using frontpages database connection and the only way I a can verify a connection is by selecting (file or folder in currect web)and listingthe path (

http://www.website.com/fpdb/database.mdb)

and when i click verify it works But when i try to display database results using that connection or update to that database i receive an error
Server error: Unable to retrieve the list of record sources from a database using the connection string:

DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=

http://www.website.com/fpdb/database.mdb.

The following error message comes from the database driver software; it may appear in a different language depending on how the driver is configured.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..
