DATABASE CONNECTION PROBLEM!

First of all, im NEW with Crystal Reports... i noticed that it is very easy to connect from a mdb, dbf, or any simple database extension format... but it doesnt have any choices for my MACOLA / PERVASIVE database

* i have a NetWare 3.12 server that's why i can't make an ODBC connection coz it's asking for an IP address

** anybody can teach me step-by-step connection for pervasive database would be greatly appreciated! thnx so much

Have you tried using the BTRIEVE driver in Crystal?

REPORT MENU --> CONVERT DATABASE DRIVER --> choose BTRIEVE (PDCTBTRV.DLL)

Browse to the data directory, there should be 3 *.ddf files any one of these should work.

yah! i noticed that there are .DDF files, but i need the specific tables to be used... thanx

finally, i have accessed the .DDF files (FILE.DDF, FIELD.DDF, INDEX.DDF)... i have a simple question, which file is to be used?!? i dont want to mess up with any of them before using them in the Crystal Report...

Hi all!!

I am facing problem in crystal report,
When i am converting CR files in VB format(.DSR) from .RPT files,its work fine, But the problem is comming when i maped the tables more than one at the runtime. It shows the old maped/ Set Loaction which is related to the prior tables.

In net shall :
I want to hide the .rpt files in my project and Add the files in VB6.0 Project and backend database is MS Access.

The databae path would be depends on drive to install the deployed package.

I need solution urgently of this.......
