Database connection error

I have been using MS ACC2000 databases results without any problem as long as I put them in the fpdb directory.

I have one database that I am not able to connect. I did repair it, I even imported all tables in a new database, I always get the following message as below. Why? With other dbs, it is OK! And this one is working perfectly in Access. Can it be the user level security? Not supposed.

I upgraded to MDAC 2.6 RTM and Jet 4.0 SP5. No improvement. I have seen a bulletin on MS site about Win Nt security. While this db was originally on Win Nt 4.0, I am working on my laptop which runs win98.

Please help! :-(

Thanks.

If I understand your problem, I think I ran into this one 2 or more times. What I had to do is create the database through FRONTPAGE. I had to use the create database feature in there, and create a brand new database. Once that was created, I copied and pasted all my tables, queries, forms, reports, etc. into there. After I did that, I was able to connect with no problem. Try that.
