Database Configuration Issue

Hi all,

I'm having trouble accessing reports from a different server than the one used for development. We would include the database in the build and connect to the local database to access the reports. Now we are trying to get access over the network and for some reason it won't work on one box.

i was wondering if the database config info are cached locally on a machine at report generation time?? is there a config file that can be tweaked within crystal?? the code we have should be pulling in the config info as a parameter and seems to work fine on one machine that was not used in the dev of the reports.

any ideas of what is going on here?

correction, i am trying to connect to the same server that was used for dev, not a different one, but i will need to have the capability to use different servers in the future
