OK, first I am not a SQL DBA so sorry for the easy question.
I am using SQL's backup to backup my databases sending them to the Backup directory. then I am using Backup Exec to back up the server (including the backup directory) my question is, should I be backing up all the DB's, SP's etc that I can see in enterprise manager? I just want to make sure that if i need to do a restore I have everything correct. Also, is there a way to setup the SQL backup to not overwrite the backup file but simply rename it?

Thanks in advance
