Data won't show

I just added a new record to my DB and when I run an existing report, the data for that particular record does not show. I have two tables and they are linked by an id. The new record contains a new ID.
If I create a query and run it, it shows but when I run the existing record(from the switchboard) it does not show. Any ideas?

2) what is the query that works?
3) what is the recordsource of the report?
4) what is the code behind your switchboard button?
