I would like to have an error message pop up that warns the user that the end date is before the start date.
Thought I could used Data Validation for this, but I can't seem to get the specifics correct.
Does anyone know what I need to do?

Cell A1 - Start Date
Cell A3 - End Date
If user enters in an end date that is before the Start Date, show the error message.

Thanks in advance.

Click on A3. Select Data Validation. Choose Date, Greater Then and set criteria =A1
Create your error message.

yogia - you're correct. Of course, it depends on what the process is. Hope it's not building a plane.
