Data Type: Access MEMO Oracle LONG

I have been appending records into Oracle 7.3.4 from Access 97 without a problem. Recently started using Access 2000 and converted my database. I now get the following error:

ODBC--Insert on a linked table <table name> failed
[Oracle][ODBC Oracle Driver]String Data, Length Mismatch (#0)

The datatypes on each database are still the same (MEMO on Access, LONG on Oracle).

Any ideas anyone?
