In SQL Server 2000, and the DTS package designer, if I select the property of a transformaion task (a simple table export between 2 servers) it hangs for about 3 minutes before opening- I did not have this problem on my older PC (a celeron 2 gig with 500meg RAM).
I have just installed on a new PC (Pentium 4 3.2 gig with 1 gig of RAM) so it can't be the specs that are causing the issue.
I have SQL SP3 installed for both SQL server and Analysis Manager and have not installed SP4 due to mojor problems experienced by other developers with this service pack.
Has anyone experienced this problem or is anyone aware of a solution?
Any advice would be appreciated.
