Data Transfer Error when upgrading fro 5.0.10 to 5.0.13

I tried upgrading our Domino Mail Server running under Windows NT Server 4 from 5.0.10 to 5.0.13 but the setup kept aborting at around 71% with the following error message:

Data Transfer Error -115
F:\Domino\js32.dll

In the past this happened once and when I restarted the server completely the setup would complete to 100% but this time not even after restarting the server cures the problem. I even tried renaming the js32.dll file but to no avail.
I now had to revert back to 5.0.10 and even when trying to install this I got the same error !!!

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Hello,

Yes, I have. You can try and rename js32.dll to js32.old BEFORE the upgrade. You might get some other files that are locked, so do the same for them.

BTW, are you sure about the 5.0.13? I thought it stopped at v 5.0.12? Maybe it's me? Hope this helps.

Actually its 5.0.13a. It was withdrawn at one point and re-released again! Shame though about these problems of installing. I never encountered such problems when upgrading the earlier versions. It could be due also to Windows NT Server 4
