Hi. I have just started supporting a company that has a Tracker 2700. I would like to use it but no one on site has the logon details or the manual for it. I am quiet happy to factory reset it and start from scratch but I do not know how to. I have pressed the 'Clear' button on the back as well as the little button behind the label at the front. The IP address 192.168.1.3 at the moment and I have tried 'admin' and 'admin' but I am still unable to get into it.

I have looked at that, but I really need a manual. I have even emailed Data Track but I never got a reply. Its looking like its going in the bin!!
Thanks anyway.

Thanks for that.

I can not get into it as I do not know the password etc and pressing the reset button does not seem to do a lot.

To log into a TRACKER controlled switch:
(International version of RPSD LOCK)

at prompt type:
PASSWORD
1> ;IT0
1> ;SP 2
2> ;ME

to logoff:
login: ;ESC
2> ;SP 1
1> ;ME
1> ;QT

(Note: ;ME should get to login: for product connected to port #>)
(Note: ;ESC gets back to #> prompt)
(Note: ;QT drops line to tracker)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
;SP # (switch tracker port where # is the port 1 - 4) port 1 could be the pbx port 2 could be CMS or voicemail

so for port 2,

;SP 2

monty.. where did you get your attachment? I wrote the "c2" program as a wrapper for connect2.

c2 needs the dialup number or ip-address; init login is used by default:

Do Not Use spaces in the phone number without a "+" or it will ignore all digits
after the first space. Moving digits over and adding to country code forces the
use of a USA terminal server modem.

c2 +44 1234567890 (or +441 23456789 or 011441234567890 for international)
c2 +44 1234567890 -v NEXTPORT -D (force USA tserver modem as first choice)
c2 7204449033 (or +1 7204449033 for domestic and Canada)
c2 +1 7204449033,,5432 (more than 10 digits, you must have + and country code)
c2 135.9.161.199:5023 (where the 5023 is the port number if applicable)
c2 135.122.44.210 -l inads -c inadspw -D (use inads login and password)
c2 7204449033 -D (to leave new xwindow opened for debugging no connects)
c2 8035365203 -F 10.1.37.179 -D (force ip address override of 10.1.0.1)
c2 7204442454 -R rasaccess01 -F 10.1.32.43 -q4 -D (auto PPP then manual login)
c2 7204449033 -q4 (this will let you login manually)
c2 7328151686 -k -D (for RPSD keyed modem)
c2 5074339410 -K -D (for previous secret key)
c2 +91 8026110001 ras=tata -R tata123 -q4 (for customer ras login and password)
c2 3013367235 -R g8m25zxy458 -D (s8100 with non-default rasaccess pw)
c2 8102254657 -R yj1o79mav6l -l craft -c u8mhvfnynv8 -D (s8500B)
c2 +44 1412044358 -r PASSWORD -x 1 -D (where PASSWORD is tracker password and 1
is the tracker port number)
c2 7703059215 -tg450ms -D (overrides server type when you pick product)
c2 7703059215 -tLXAUD -q4 -D (uses tscppp login for Audix)
c2 7703059215 -ctscpwxxxx -D (uses tscppp login for Audix) pick #8
c2 +31 135425774 -tGuard2 -l lucguard -c softlock -D (asg Guard 2) pick # 9
c2 172.18.46.140 init=Avaya -c avayab3rt -X SSH -D (use login Avaya SSG)
c2 3086309305 -t G250AG -R 9c7g6b1kg8l -c root -D (branch gateways) pick #7
(-t choices are G350, G250AG, G250BG,
G250TG, G250DG)

If you do not want to use any of the most common options (default)
You can override it by typing that option in command line those options are:

-a For PID if it different than the system populating
-c For password if the login name is not ASG enabled login
-d For Max num of dial attempts
-F For PPP, force the remote IP address to the one passed on
-g For S8700/S8300/S8500 to start SAT after login (at,ad,st)
-h For Automatic hangup on exit (pass to connect)
-k For RPSD (US and Canada lock systems)
-K Use previous key(s) with ASG
-l For login name if you do not want to use init login
-M For RMB passwords, the format is user:mgr
-o For Sending output to socket (not stdout) once logged in
-q4 For manual login
after the rasaccess login if the system is Linux system
-r For the Tracker 2600 password
ras= For rasaccess login name - customer remote login name
-R For rasaccess password if it is not default rasaccess01
-S For Secondary password (Dialup, System, etc) like CMS
-s For forcing the connection speed
-t For product type
-v For specifing the modem type
-X For Connection type (e.g. ASYNC, PPP, TEL, etc) if the product
for products support more than on type of connection

. Same as -q4
