You're going to think I'm as thick as a plank but I can't figure this out and it drives me nutz.
We have a query that was created by someone who knew ODBC and no longer works here. We use Excel to run the saved query. However, it always says "[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified"
Then it goes to the machine data source where we select the name of the query again.
Why do we always have to do that? I wish there was a general ODBC discussion book that I could use to figure this kind of stuff out.
