Hi,
I am new. I have a database in excel with columns for date, account, amount, description etc. I want an excel VBA code that will help me retrieve data from my database when a user provides an account name and a date range. eg assuming the account selected is Salaries and the date range is 1-Jan-09 to 30-Jun-09, all entries for salaries within the specified date range should be copied and pasted in a separate sheet.

can somebody help me please?

Thanks

Hi,

I would use MS Query faq68-5829.

Once you figure out how to set your criteria to return a data set that meets ONE criteria set, you can get some direction of how to make the query interactive.

Can be done in just a few minutes.

Skip,
