Hi!
This my 2 post on this forum, sorry for my english, i'm from Poland.
After Yours help, i buy new hard disc (WD Caviar 80Gb Sata).
But my old disc (not samsung..:/) - Seagate 80Gb Sata Model: ST380013AS - is dead. And i have on it 30-40 films with my 1 year son, this mpg files is first film with Gabriel..
When i on pc - bios see my old disc. When i boot xp from new disc - i not see old disc.
When i run some program (Active@ Undeleter, Unpartition) and when him scan disc i see very much "read error (crc)..".
My question is - meybe You know some program work in dos mode to help me recover data (that films) and write recover data to my new disc (ntfs)..?
Program like Active@ xxx can read disc, but him save image all disc (80GB), and i not have enouth free disc space on new disc.
And, how to chance i have (10, 50, 90%) to recover thats film from old error disc?
Some program to recover data from error disc, but only files mpg not all disc.
Very big thanks to answer, Artur

ps.when i boot from old disc i have: data read error, press alt+ctrl+del to restart machine.
And when i connecten old disc, my pc work very, very slowly. When i boot from new disc, and old is connected - xp loading 30 minutes..:/
Thanks for help.

Try to get a usb drive case for your old drive and see if you can access the drive that way.
