I have an IP406V2 which 3 different companies are sharing.
Each company has its own server/data equipment etc.
All 3 companies now want to use phone manager and share a Voicemail.

It need to put the system on the network but am wondering how to connect to the 3 networks?

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

3 companies sharing the same IPO? Sounds to me like a heap of trouble the size of texas...

Seriously though, there are a few ways to go about it. A lot depends on the kind of network gear they are all using, and how much they trust each other. You may have to create a common DMZ that contains the IPO and VMPro server, then start programming ACL's to allow access. Do you have access to program all the data equipment or do you need to liason with their IT departement (or worse still, perhaps 3 different external IT support companies)?

The 3 companies are only small about 6 users each.

Only 1 external IT company to do all the data works.
I was hoping i could just use the Logical Lan program step?

One of my customers have this setup but are using a cisco router to connect the LAN's

Just to clarify, do they each have a seperate firewall and internet connection, or is everyone on one big happy LAN with single firewall and internet pipe? Just because they have seperate servers doesn't have to mean they are on seperate networks. Can you ping from a PC owned by one of the companies to a PC owned by another of the companies?

If they do have seperate firewalls, what kind? And are the subnets unique?

Seems to me if it's 1 external IT company handling the data for all 3 then in some ways this isn't your problem. Connect a VMPro server direct to the 406v2 (love those switch ports) give it an IP address in the same subnet as the IPO (obviously) and tell the IT company to allow unrestricted access from all machines to the IPO/VMP subnet (or the 2 specific IP's if they prefer) and vice-versa.

Although you're giving up the fun part ;)
