What data-modules must be removed when migrating to an S8700.

I know the wcbri's are supported, but will the pdm data-modules still work in the S8700?

Any data module that would have interfaced with the SPE in legacy G3R must be removed. These are referred to as Mode 2 data mods (pdm data mods) and include connections to audix, cdr, pms, etc.

I installed a PDM type data-module on an S8700. Testing proved that it does work. Documentation says they are not supported. However, that does not mean they don't work.

We need to maintain these PDM's for a short period after the upgrade. Fortunately, it looks as if we can.

Regards,

can you please brief the proceedure of adding the data modules in S8700
