Data level security 1

Hi all,

I am working with Crystal Enterprise 10 and need to know if there is a way to have 'role-based' or data level security for users.

For example, I would like to have one report and groups of users set up so one group could not see the other groups data.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Generally this is best done on the database.

Some people use the inherent (proprietary) security offered by Crystal Business Views in CE10:

You have to create business view. In business view data foundation/element section you have to create filter.Then you have to set rights to the filter.
