Hi,
I'm using Accpac 5.5 and trying to clear out errors on my data integrity report.
I've come accross many errors for IC transfers (under Transfer Details on the report).
The error is: "E: Invalid input. To location is not active."

The transfers it refers to are from years ago and the location has been made inactive because it no longer exists.
I've tried deleting the location as well but only thing that changes is the error message which is now: "E: Invalid input. To location does not exist."

Why does the data integrity report list IC transfers as an error when the transfer includes a To-Location that has been made inactive or deleted.

How can I get rid of the error on the report?

If that location still has stock in hand it won't be deleted. Use tranfer to a different location clear any stock from that location 1st. If its integrating with any other 3rd party module ,make sure average stock dayend or stock dayend processing have been run successfully otherwise check if they are any errors and ensure that those errors are cleared from the logs.

Thanks for your quick reply NKOS13.

I meant to say that I actually succeeded in deleting that old stock location. But it still gives me the error on the integrity report for a posted stock transfer in 2007:
"E: Invalid input. To location does not exist."

Why does it care whether the location exists or not if the transfer has long posted?

Double check some of your tables in IC Locations, l think they is an orphan in one of the tables .Run an RVspy as you run the day end processing. It will show you where the error is .

Thanks for your replies.
Ettiene - I presume you refer to I/C periodic processing > clear history.
When clearing historic entries do I not then loose drill-down functionality for the entries removed?

I was hoping the fix these error with deleting any historic records.

Then use a database editor and delete the unwanted ICTR* records manually.
