Hello. I'm connecting to an Oracle database using the ODBC driver. For some views I am able to see the data using the TOAD application, I can see the fields in the views when configuring the database connections in Crystal and then can add the fields when designing the reports, but when I preview the report the data doesn't show up.

I'm not using the select expert at all, just simply dragging the fields onto the report. I'm having no problem with most of the views, only certain ones. Has anyone seen this issue before or have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Which ODBC driver are you using?

You should be using the Crystal supplied one (CR Oracle8).

Try using OLE DB connectivity or the direct connectivity and see if that helps.

What version of Oracle and Crystal, and are you returning any unsupported data types (such as timestamp with timezone in 9i)?
