I imported some data from an exernal text file. However, MS Access re-sorted the sequence of my data.

E.g.
Original Text File : 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, ....99, 100

After import,
Access Table : 90, 91 ....100, 01, 02, ....98

How can I maintain the original order of my data in the table? Please help.

Add an autonumber on your table, and sort by this. The autonumber will be assigned the minute the record is added, and therefore you should be able to sort by the sequence the records were added.

bye

Martin.
