Data Grid loses focus when scrolled with wheel mouse

Hello -

I've got a data grid with some stuff in it. When i select an item, and then use the wheel mouse to scroll up or down in the grid, my grid loses focus when the selected item moves out of the grid's visible area. Anyone know if there is a way I can prevent this from happening, or is this "by design"

This is 'by design' - the cell which has focus is no longer visible and therefore focus is shifted to the next control. The data grid itself never gets focus, only the cells do and therefore when the cell loses focus the next control in the tab order gets focus.
