I am looking at a used server:
Make/Model: Data General N185
Type: AV3704
Model 70895-XE

What operating system would this run? I want to run Windows 2000 Server or 2003 Server & Microsoft SQL2000 or 2003.

Where can I get hot swop hard drive caddies for theis unit?

The 3704 is a an Intel box. It uses an NX motherboard (SKBBS450NXB) It is qualified to run win2k. It also runs dg/ux. I suppose the hard drive caddies could be got from Intel, EMC, Park Place International, or TLC. You might even find some on ebay.
