Data from two tables in a single column?

Dear all,

I would like to know if it is possible to gather data from two different tables in a single column using a query in MS Access?

I would like to do a common list of different events based on the time of each event. These are otherwise listed in two different tables as they do not have many data in common so I do not see sense in using a single table.
