All the settings that I can find on my PC are set to UK date format of dd/mm/yy. When I run a ASP script that has for instance Response.Write(Now) the data is displayed in US format. Most of page that I am viewing/testing are written by someone else, the dates appear ok on the main service but when I am hosting them locally on my XP Pro machine they as US style. The programmer often uses the format VBShortDate.

Can anyone point me to a setting that I must have over looked as the problem is his systems often put in a default date and when validated I get an error as there are not 18 months etc

put something like this on the top of your page...
<%@LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" LCID=1037%>

check the correct LCID you want
-DNG

Thanks for all the messages. theniteowl pointed me a little; I found one the regional settings applet, under the advance tab is a checkbox which if you set on will set the system accounts to the setting you have made. In Windows 200 there used to be a button but now it is hidden a little.
