I am using Javascript in conjunction with Oracle to produce an HTML document incorporating a table. The table cells are populated using the simple document.write function after values have been calculated. The script works well, but I just want to know if the data in the table cells can be extracted to a comma separated text file.

Thanks.

javascript has methods for searching such as indexOf() or match(), but it cannot access or create files in the filesystem for security reasons...you're better off with server-side script like asp or php
