Cannot copy Data error: Cyclic Redundency check Not A access database person. Need definition of error. File is on Zip drive and cannot be opened or copied. Learn something everyday or you wasted a day of your life.

The file is damaged on the zip drive. Not an Access error.

Thanks That's waht I thought. Any way or getting the file back? Even in part or is it a complete rebuild from last backup? Learn something everyday or you wasted a day of your life.

If it can't be opened, it (probably) can't be recovered. Try to open (depending on size) in notepad or wordpad. If this is sucessful, you can at least SEE the content. After that it gets less clear. If you know the supposed structure, you could write a small routine to parse the file and retrieve what ever conforms to the supposed structure. Failing the above, it depends on the 'value', you might send it off to a specialty shop.
