Data Entered not showing up in field in table

Hi, this is strange to me.

I have a table - lots of tables, but on I am working on

when I add data to the table spacific fields the data will show up when I am typing it in but then when I hit enter it goes away. when I click on the filed the data will re- appear.

Even if I import the table to a new blank database this is happening. the field type is a double wht decimal places of 4 and 2

Is there some linking with another tabel that I am not seeing ?

I think I found the problem ?

I changed the data type to single and it shows up just fine. Is there something about double that dosen't show up in the table when looking at the data?
