data display on report issue using XI

Hi,

The report has designed in such a way at anytime the display of the 2 rows go together at the end of each page irrespective of how many records it retrived.

For an example.

1st row contains Accouting $1000 10%
2nd row contains Research $3000 20%


like wise

3rd row contains Environment $3000 10%
4th row contains Banking $1500 15%

etc...

but at the end of each page it never break down among them (for an example 3rd on first page and 4th record on second page).

any conditions for that please!!!...

What section are these fields in? How do you have the page break set?

Hi,

Let me clear from myside:

one Detail section has divided into 2 Detail sections for placing 2 different set of fields(based on requirement).

and then trying to show those 2 set of fields together when run the report but there i got into issue at the end of the each page they were broke down and going to the next page which does not look good for the users.

I hope you got my question

Please provide some ideas.

Go into the section expert and highlight the higher order Details section (ABOVE detail_a and detail_b) and check "Keep together."
