Data dictionary memory allocation error

I tried to uninstall a 3rd-party in my test server. Went to Dynamics.set deleted the module and dictionary also decrease number of module from 17 to 16.

When I ran GP I got the data dictionary memory alloc error. Renamed Dynamics.set then recreated it but was still getting the same error. Here's the contents of Dynamics.set:

It looks like you have two products with the same product code of 0. Unless this is 8.0 and it allows 2 of the same codes I didn't think this was allowed.

I saw that too and I compared it with our 7.5 which only shows 0 Great Plains.

Which one would I delete then?

Test it both ways. Make a backup of it...remove one at a time to see if it works.

It's working now but deleting the 8.0 wasn't enough. If you look at the file it wasn't in sequence. I tried to rearrange it so it would coincide with the module.

I have cleaned up your Dynamics.set. It had a number of errors in it. including incorrect dictionary names and dictionary names in the wrong places.

The basic format is

Line 1 = Number of Products

Then for each product there are two lines for the Product ID and Product Name.

Then there is the platform description (usually windows).

Then for each product there are three lines for the application dictionary, custom forms and custom report dictionaries.

You can have more platforms and paths as neeeded.
