data control - access 2000 problem

Hi.
I need to have to my data control able to connect via Access 2000. I have download and installed SP5, and I even tried to reinstall Access. Bu ti can't seem to get 'Access 2000' to show up in the connect field of the properties of the data control. Help!! lol...

I'm going to assume you are talking about the connection string property of the MS ADO Data Control.

If so I think all you need to do is build a connection string for a jet database and select the .mdb file of the database that you want. It will just refer to it as an Access database. I do not think it will specifically say Access 2000 anywhere.
