Data Connections Between Access 2007 and Excel 2007

Is there an easy way to use a data connection to connect an Excel 2007 workbook to an Access 2007 query?

The query will then be separated into several different worksheets within the same Excel 2007 workbook.

I want the data to be returned into Excel into a table-like format for each worksheet instead of a pivot table. However, I want to be able to refresh the data by regularly changing/updating the connection in one place.

I know how to create the connection for a Pivot Table and then use the same connection to create more Pivot Tables. That just does not fit my needs for this particular project.

Hi,

This can be done in Excel using MS Query, External Data Connections.

"regularly changing/updating the connection" can be done with VBA code by assigning the .Connection property of the QueryTable object in your Sheet object.
