Hi all,

I hope that you can help me. I've been working on a Barcode application for work. I'm trying to make an activeX control work with access.

I have seen many examples where you can put in what field you would like to bind to the control.(control Source)

Could anybody tell me how to do this?

So far I have tried using a 'Complex Data Consumer Class', and I've tried writing my own class, but I just can't get access to display the control source box.

Regards

Silver

Don't try using a "complex data consumer class!!" If you're trying to work with an Access database, just look up ADO and learn how to use it. In particular, you'll need to understand Connection objects and Recordset objects. If you start working on this, and post back with questions, we'll be glad to help you out.
