Data Backup - from MenuItem

Kindly tell me that can we Backup our
Oracle Sql8 backend table data
in Forms 6i from a MenuItem. by clicking the Menuitem.
if we can then kindly tell me the way.
i know we can backup data by using the "EXPORT" FILE from the command prompt.

But i dont know how can we execute this export file from Froms. either by Clicking a Button or MenuItem.
