We have 3 yrs history in GP. We want to remove the history but have access to it later on when required. What is the best way to archive data in GP for easy reference in the future when rrquired. Pls advise. Thanks.

You can also create an archive company and restore data to it. Then you'd have to manually remove history for all modules from your live company. Not sure how much professional advantage's product costs but if you're having to remove after 3 years, their product may be worth it.

Thanks for your feedback. I got the general idea what is involved now.

If anything can go wrong, it WILL.

The problem with archiving is that it creates hassles when reporting over multiple periods...especially with FRx.
