I have two databases, one for logging(DB1) and another one for reporting(DB2). I want o have a DTS automatically transfer yesterday's data to DB2 every night. Make it more clear, I want only yesterday's data to be transfered and appended to the DB2 existing data. I see there is an option saying "apeend data" in DTS wizard. I am not sure if this just append new data not in the DB2, or it will copy whole DB1 to DB2 again and make some duplicates. Thanks for your help!
