Yes I agree. Do you know what I need to do to change that. I can read and write and do everything else from VB.NET to that particular Database on the server, but it won't let me create stored procedures.

Using Enterprise Manager, right click the database in question and select Properties. In the dialog box that opens, select the Permissions tab and then select Create SP for the user that you are using to log on through your VB app.
