I am developing an app which accesses ACess database file, with the aid of Data designer and command object. Now I want to add a new record in it. Can I do it without making use of ADO or ADODC control..
Kindly advise.... [sig][/sig]

well you could probally use DAO, but you still need to use ODBC, which is why ADO exist, as a much easier way to do this, I guess you could spend a few months writing a program that could understand access databases without using any ODBC related drivers. But I do not know of a way to do this.
